Football Coaching Experience
UEFA qualified coach with 26 years goalkeeper coaching experience including development roles with Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Crystal Palace FC and Millwall FC. Within these roles I have coached players that have gone onto be offered professional contracts. I ran my own successful football academy which attracted over 300 players per week. My playing career reached Semi Professional level in London and the surrounding area.

Session Plan
As it’s a unique role, goalkeepers have their own drills and training regime. These focus not only on their technique and agility, but also their footwork, positioning, and distribution. I specifically look at what is expected from a goalkeeper in terms of their play and performances out on the pitch. We'll then move onto some goalkeeping drills and tips that can help you master this important position or I can coach an up-and-coming goalkeeping prospect to harness their potential. Following understanding and developing the basics we can move onto positional play and develop into playing the role of goalkeeper as part of a teams playing style.
