Football Coaching Experience 

Over the past ten years, I have been supporting and working with children, young people and adults in both education and sport. I have worked and coached within both football and multi sports throughout my experiences with ages ranging from three years to eighteen years old. I have worked and coached for many community clubs and organisations and two Club Academy Scotland (CAS) academies to date within the central belt in Scotland. Regarding my qualifications to date, I am an Advanced Children's Licence (ACL) holder; UEFA C Licence holder & Intermediate Goalkeeper holder As well as that, I have had many experiences within the education system as part of my teaching training at college and university working within nursery up to Primary 7 age. Furthermore, I have a Master of Arts (Hons.) degree in Education which means that I am a qualified primary school teacher and, I am a qualified early childhood educator in the early years.

Session Plan

Each session will consist of the player and their relationship with and without the football. Working all aspects of the game and focussing on the five pillars of player development - technical, tactical, physical, psychological, and social. Within the session, each drill or practice will help develop with ball control; ball manipulation; ball mastery; being comfortable in using both feet for complete balance and co-ordination; and improving on their strengths and their developmental areas. Also, throughout the process of teaching and learning, the individual will learn how to be confident within themselves; learn how to be resilient; willing to learn and improve; and setting themselves individual goals and targets to help their development. Finally, each session will incorporate the 5Cs of player development to help further development - commitment, communication, concentration, confidence, and control.
