Looking for football coaching jobs? Looking for new tennis players to coach? Coachability can help!
Coachability connects players with private coaches for 1 to 1 coaching in football and tennis. Coachability makes it easy for coaches to receive bookings and receive payment for private training sessions. We encourage highly successful athletes and experienced coaches who want to be mentors, coaches, and positive influences for kids to sign up with Coachability.
What are the benefits of being a Coachability Coach?

In order to provide a great experience for Coachability clients, we require coaches to:
- Reply to client or our own suport team messages within 24 hrs - Respond to Booking Requests within 24 hours - Contact clients promptly upon confirmation of booking - Show up on time (or early) for scheduled sessions - Come to session prepared with all necessary equipment - Maintain active communication with clients who have booked sessions - Keep availability and location up to date - Provide clients with at least 24 hours notice in the event of a cancellation
For the safety and integrity of our community, we do not allow:
- Exchange of contact information before a booking takes place - Accepting payment from Coachability clients outside of the Coachability website - Encouraging Coachability clients to book sessions with you outside of Coachability - Informing Coachability training sessions are complete that have not taken place - Unprofessional communication or behavior - Falsification of personal information - Providing a client experience that falls short of Coachability standards
Any coach who fails to comply with the above requirements will be subject to their Coachability profile being placed on hold and unable to accept new clients. We enforce our Guidelines and Expectations to ensure that all Coachability clients receive a great experience and to maintain the integrity of our community.
Yes, our coaches are responsible for finding a location or facility for their coaching sessions. Sometimes a client will suggest a facility/location that is a convenient option. Coaches are welcome to train at a location of the client's choosing. However, in most cases, clients expect the coach to provide a training location.
We completely understand that securing a facility is one of the biggest obstacles to conducting a great coaching session. As a result, we're working hard to compile a list of recommended facilities and offer discounted access to partner facilities in the near future. In the meantime, we recommend that you and find a local field or facility that can accommodate sessions (asking other coaches in your area or searching for facilities on the internet may yield some solid results).
We recommend that you inform us whether facility fees are included in your session rates. Many coaches on Coachability have found it effective to include facility fees in their session rates to compensate for any added costs. Another option is to specify that clients will have to pay a fee directly to the facility at the time of the session (for example, if the facility charges a guest fee).
There are many reasons why it's important to make sure that a client books sessions with you through Coachability before training takes place.
Your Coach score increases every time you complete a session through Coachability. This gives your profile a higher rank in the Coachability search results, helping you to get more bookings.
Coachability processes credit card payments from the client, so you never have to worry about asking for money from the client.
Coachability protects you with a 24-hour cancellation policy in case a client no-shows for a scheduled session, allowing you to be paid for the time you’ve set aside.
Coachability periodically offers discounts to your clients. If your client uses a Coachability discount, your earnings will stay the same!
Coachability pays coaches directly into your chosen bank. Make sure you have provided us with your relevant bank details.
Sessions must be booked by clients through the Coachability website in order for coaches to receive payment. Accepting payment from Coachability clients outside the website is not permitted.
In order to be paid for the sessions you complete...
After the completion of a session send an email with the heading "(YOUR NAME) Session Complete" and include:
-Clients name
-Date
-Time
-Location
We pay within 24 hours of the completion of the session.
Hourly rates of pay vary depending on your qualifications and experience.
For a single 1 hour session booking:
A UEFA B and LTA level 3 coach earn £25 per hour.
A UEFA A and LTA level 4 coach earn £30 per hour.
Coaching session packages are offered to clients as a way to guarantee coaches more work on a consistent basis.
Two types of photos are acceptable:
A personal/professional photo or a sports/action photo.
Choose a quality image that clearly displays your face – avoid selfies, group shots, and photos that are too zoomed out.
Keep in mind your clients will need to recognise you when you meet for the first time.
Your One Sentence Bio is the first thing clients will read about you when they search for coaches in their area. To help your profile stand out, include specific details that are unique to your background and experience, such as athletic achievements and coaching/career highlights.
Great descriptions include specifics:
-Former Professional footballer with 5 years of private coaching experience. Specialises in development of youth football.
-Former Doncaster Rovers Assistant Mnager and current Bradford Under 16 Academy coach
-I have 5 years experience as a UEFA B qualified Foootball Coach employed in various professional academies.
Avoid vague descriptions:
-I have been coaching athletes for quite some time - train with me to reach your goals!
-Let’s work hard, get better, and have fun!
As well as your one sentence bio you need to include the following:
- Coaching Location(s), this is a venue/location where you can coach clients from. Feel free to add upto 3 locations and include the full address includng postcode.
- If you are willing to train clients away from the mentioned locations i.e to a venue suggested by the client then include how many miles you are able to travel from your home address. See profile example for guidance.
- Coaching & Playing Experience
Max of 300 characters on your coaching and playing highlights.
- Session Plan
Max 300 characters on an overview and example fo what players can expect from a 1 to 1 coaching session with you.

The next step to getting started on Coachability is to make sure that your profile is 100% complete.
Steps to take:
1. A one sentence introduction bio
2. Career/playing highlights (350 characters limit)
3. Session plan example (350 character limit)
4. Training locations (Full address incuding postcode)
5. Miles you can travel from your home to train clients 6. A profile photo
7. Availability (Give specific times)
8. Additional details (Do you have access to a pitch, is there a pitch hire fee, etc)
9. Bank account details for payment
10. Confirmation of mobile number and email address
A few things to note:
Training Locations: We reccommend 2-3 locations. Please include the full address, including the postcode.
If you are willing to travel outside of this location, i.e to train at a client's prefered location, please specify how many miles radius you can travel from your listed address.
You can use parks, fields, indoor sports halls, or other out of the box places to run a good session. Asking other coaches in your area or searching for facilities online may yield some great results as well. You do not need a lot of space or a brand new facility to hold a great session!
A profile photo: A professional photo or action shot of you coaching, which clearly shows your face is ideal. No selfies! Remember the client needs to recognize you when you first meet.
Your Availability: Let us know your availability including specific times and days and let us know if your availability changes. We don't want clients to be left frustrated and disapointed if you suddenly realise you forgot to inform us that your availability had changed.
Additional details: Indicate whether there is a cost to use the facility where you hold your sessions. If there is, you can indicate the fee the client should expect to pay.
Bank account details: In order to receive payment for your training sessions, you'll need to provide us with your bank or paypal details. Payment is made within 24 hours of completition of the session.
Please make sure to read our terms of service. In having a coaches profile on www.coachabilitygroup.com you agree to the terms and conditions as set in the terms of servce.
For every booking you receive, keep in mind that there is an individual behind the message who is looking to you to help them improving their game.
There are two types of messages you may receive: a booking request and a message from the support team here at Coachability.
Booking Request
When a client books you on the Coachability website you have the option to Accept or Decline within 24 hours before the booking expires. If you accept, we strongly recommend accepting asap to ensure the client receives the best experience.
If you choose to decline the booking with the client for some reason, please cancel within 24 hours.
Once you accept the booking we supply you the clients contact details. We recommend phoning as this is often the easiset and quickest way to confrm setup the session.
Coachability requires coaches to reply to their clients within 24 hours. If you do not respond within 24 hours, you will receive a warning and your profile will drop in the search results.
A Message From Coachability Support Team
Sometimes before booking a client may have a question whcih is sent to our support team. If we are unable to answer this directly due to the nature of the question i.e something specific to you, then we make contact with you and ask you to reply tp us as soon as you can.
I’ve received a booking now what?
Some things to ensure you confirmwhen speaking to the client:
- Desired training location - Time and Date - Training goals - Age and position (if applicable)
If you can't get hold of the client by phone, leave a message and follow up with an email. Overall, the most important thing is to Accept or Decline the client’s Booking Request before it expires (24 hours after it’s submitted).
Once you complete your session, you need to inform us that the session is complete to receive your payment. We encourage you to inform us of the complete sesison immediately after the session finishes to ensure timely payouts.
To inform us of a completed session, just email us with the heading as "(YOUR NAME) session complete" and provide the following information to receive payment:
-Client Name
-Session date
-Time
-Location
For example, Tommy Tibbs, 10th June, 3pm - 4pm, St George's Park, Wandsworth).
Payments are issued 3-5 days after the above is emailed.
We'll try to send you as many new client leads as possible, but here are a few proactive things you can do to attract clients:
- Invite clients (outside of Coachability) to book you through Coachability - Send us any videos or photos of your coaching sessions which we can post to our social media and marketing channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
This is a sure fire way to boost your visability. Videos and photos could include footage of you coaching a client, equipment setup, your coach profile and lots more.
- Inform us if you would like to be part of any special promotional activities we run including competitions to win a free coaching session, discounts, etc. - Creatively market your profile! Feel free to use the Coachability logo on any promotional materials you'd like to create to promote your profile. - Improve your page placement on the Coachbaility website by getting more reviews, informing us of any changes in your availability, maintaining a high client loyalty rate, and following our coach guidelines and expectations.
Go the Extra Mile:
-Take the time to really get to know your clients:
-Be a mentor, and build a lasting and meaningful relationship with your client. -Ask about your clients' grades and how school, college, university is going. -Show up to your clients' games and give feedback.
Provide excellent feedback:
-Offer to watch film of your clients' games and prepare an analysis. -After each session you can provide feedback via email or text. Include photos/videos of the player in action. This is a great tool at your disposal to provide an excellent service to your client and to encourage them to rebook you.
