I am an aspiring UEFA B coach with experiences from Southampton Football Clubs Coaches Academy. I am graduating with a BA Hons in Football Coaching and Management. I have coached for; Saints and Fulham Foundation, Barnet FC’s Pre-Academy and U9s, and Head of
Goalkeeping at Barnet Academy. I have coached players of all positions and ages from 4-18.

Session plan will be individualised for each player. I coach with a position specific approach so training can be translated into matches.
I coach all positions including:

GK’s- Shot stopping, collecting from crosses and distribution

DF, MID, ATT- Ball manipulation, shooting, passing, game understanding and any other areas for development.

After coaching from Steve my son developed his 1v1 skills which gave him the confidence in his
ability during matches. The drills also enabled him to build on his, first touch, final touch and
control. The ball control skills were enhanced by the close proximity drills practised in a small
area, which he made challenging, so it became easier during my sons games. He has been able
to successfully utilise these skills in his matches giving him the confidence to be creative and to

Steve helped improve my brothers awareness and understanding of space. He built up a strong

references of the pitch to help my brothers awareness and used videos and examples to show
him things he was learning. My brothers only 9 but after being coached by Steve his game and
attitude towards football has transformed. He even sometimes corrects me when I play, telling
me how to jockey or intercept in a 1v1.
